A revolutionary extension to a key application component

KnowledgeCenter's new business focused Outlook module, KC 1View, allows for simple publishing and processing of emails and email attachments to and from the Kcenter Document Management library. It also enables the management of business processes and applications from within an Outlook window.

KC 1View effectively enables Kcenter to be run as an “application within an application”. As such users will no longer have to navigate externally between systems or products as 1View will allow them to stay within their familiar Outlook interface and file, create or search for documents, emails or email attachments. Users can even run applications or workflows from within the same Outlook interface.

  • Easy Access

    Easy Access to Kcenter Functionality

    Kcenter user functionality is now integrated and fully accessible from within the MS Outlook environment, enabling users to save emails and/or attachments to the Kcenter Library with configurable reference data.

  • Outbound Email

    Outbound Email from Kcenter

    Users have the ability to view and embed documents as email attachments directly from the Kcenter Library. Additionally attachments can be embedded as URLs (thereby reducing internal network traffic) with the subsequent ability for the email recipient to use the URL to view the documents, or render them as physical attachments when sending emails externally from their organisation.

  • Outlook Folders

    Integration with Outlook’s Folder Structure

    Kcenter appears as a separate folder structure within the Outlook tree view, allowing users to easily browse the folders. Users are able to drag and drop items (emails/attachments) between Outlook and Kcenter's repository, exposed in tree view format. In addition to this a new Kcenter toolbar provides an alternative method of accessing all Kcenter functions subject to user permissions.

  • Automated Reminder

    Automated Reminder to File

    After every issuance of an email, Kcenter provides the ability to save the outbound email to the Library, providing a complete record of all documents and emails (inbound & outbound) within the document repository.
