ACORD compliant Peer to Peer electronic information exchange

In 2006, following requests from the London market, KnowledgeCenter and WebConnectivity established an innovative partnership to provide a mechanism to support the initiative of Interoperability.

KnowledgeCenter provides, through the Kcenter Communicator, an integrated capability for it's existing Kcenter clients. Through the relationship with WebConnectivity it is able to offer all London Market companies true Peer2Peer functionaility with full ACORD accreditation.

Web Connectivity has 2 primary G6-aligned gateway offerings; EnabledB2B and EnabledR2R. These are designed to support key market requirements for all structured and unstructured data in a single messaging solution.

The emerging consensus around formats, processes & workflows allows the gateway to hide technical & standards details from users. The product suite can be adapted rapidly to individual customer requirements, rather than deliver to a centrally constructed vision and removes the need for in-house expertise in ACORD & SOAP to begin P2P messaging.

The products are solutions designed around key LMP initiatives. Out of the box they are SOAP & ACORD-aware, G6-aligned and pre-configured with relevant standards. Deployment is rapid and simple and can be delivered days rather than months.

    EnabledB2B is Web Connectivity’s messaging, data transformation and document repository interface solution which covers all requirements for both Brokers and (Re)Insurers. Designed to operate with ACORD’s Messaging Framework, Reinsurance and Large Commercial (RLC) and Document Repository Interface (DRI) standards. EnabledB2B has won 15 ACORD awards as a gateway solution for companies who wish to exchange messages using SOAP and ACORD DRI & RLC standards and has been adopted by a third of G6 members and by 3 of the top 5 brokers.

    EnabledR2R

    EnabledR2R supports document exchange using ACORD DRI standards, it supports those organisations who wish to exchange documents only, whilst providing the same secure gateway messaging environment that is available in EnabledB2B. This solution is recommended for organisations wishing to manage single document transactions; e.g. those integrating with Xchanging’s Electronic Claims File(ECF) repository.
