KC Coverholder
The comprehensive solution for CoverholdersKC Coverholder is a complete solution for Managing General Agents (MGAs) to place business by delegating their binding authority to a network of designated sub-coverholders, i.e. brokers and agents. KC Coverholder extends the proven infrastructure of KC Binder Manager to the sub-coverholders through a new Portal module.
The Portal exposes selected functionality of the KC Binder Manager solution to the sub-coverholders, allowing them to place business directly into the system. Working through the Portal, the sub-coverholders can conduct the whole new business cycle from initial indicative quotation through to issuing policy documents. While they are doing so, the system automatically checks that business lies within pre-agreed limits and terms. Anything outside the terms is automatically highlighted to underwriters.
The Portal uses the underlying power of Kcenter Workflow and Document Management to co-ordinate all activity between the sub-coverholders and the MGA and to make all relevant documents available to relevant parties at the right time. It also uses the KnowledgeCenter Document Assembly module to automate the production of all policy documentation. This approach ensures that all documentation is standardised and compliant as well as making it faster and easier for brokers to sign-up new customers.
As business is signed and bound all the relevant data is automatically collected by the system for inclusion on bordereau that can be automatically generated to be sent to the market.
The same integrated and automated approach is applied to the handling of Renewals, Mid-Term Adjustments and Claims.
